On an island missing from every map, dinosaurs rehearse beneath a striped tent lit by volcanoes. When their ringmaster disappears, a fearless child named Pip must help the clumsy troupe prepare the greatest show in prehistory.
Pip trains a juggling raptor, a tightrope brontosaurus, and twins who launch a triceratops from a flower-shaped cannon. Between rehearsals, enormous footprints lead toward the volcano, where the ringmaster is trapped by a lonely tyrannosaur that has never been invited to perform.
The rescue becomes opening night's grand finale. The tyrannosaur joins the company as its thunderous drummer, and an audience waiting sixty million years finally fills the tent with applause loud enough to shake the stars.
