When a shadow queen begins rewriting every kingdom, Ace crosses a bridge of playing cards and recruits a runaway princess, a dragon afraid of fire, and a wolf who would rather bake bread. Their mismatched talents help recover the missing words, yet the blank ace grows darker with every summon.
